So I have an update! It's good news!! I have made progress with my gallery!!!
In the gallery section I still have a link to my deviant art page, as there is just more art there. However I also have my own java gallery, complete with thumbnails and such. I currently have three small groupings of art on my site directly and am workign on expanding that.

Well, It has been a bit since I made an update. I have been working a little on the site. Still slogging away on a gallery page of my own, it is hard work. I did add a contact option to the home page as you can see on the right there, because not everyone wants to go through the forum to get a hold of me and I had not realized that I did not hove my email more readily available. Just so you know you can reach me on the forums, or via email at Nox@nocturnal-art.com .
I have been doing more art recently, going with a branch of style that I am finding quite rewarding. I should have art posted soon on my DA page. I also think I have a good idea regarding a style for a potential web comic. I just need someone to come up with things so I can draw it.
I am pretty excited. I have had some minor progress in getting my CSS for my homepage done. I think I installed a database and a forum successfully. Not sure though. Need to work on the style for the forum, and set it up so that I have an updates thread that will be my blog, and I can make use of a RSS feed to pull the update from the forum and populate this section of my homepage. Fuck making an archiving system for now. I am going with the easy-to-get-started-now option.
Eventually I think I will have my own web form, which will let me post to a database, and the database will pump out the info it needs to so that an update will appear on the homepage.
In other exciting news, in a prime example of how not responsible I am, I totally quit my day job. Going to go on vacation, look for a new job later, go on another vacation, make money for pax, go to PAX and go to school. I think it will work out. I feel like I'm 20 again (not that 20 year olds are all totally irresponsible, but I know I was.)
